WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J.----June 29, 2006--Merck & Co., Inc. today announced that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices unanimously voted to recommend that children 4 to 6 years of age receive a second dose of varicella vaccine for the prevention of chickenpox.
