What things have gone wrong with the car? The most recent thing that has gone wrong with my 2000 GLS Jetta VR6 is that the engine light keeps coming on. On June 9,2003 took the car in to dealer because engine light was on and I was about to go on a business road trip.

What things have gone wrong with the car? I have had to replace the alternator in my 2000 Accord EX (V6) twice since I bought the car six years ago. The first time the alternator was replaced, the car was just past the 3-year warranty.
